Monica's menagerie...

On our little farm we currently have 5 horses, a jersey cow, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 6 chickens, 5 birds, a pet magpie, a goat and a sheep. That's 26 pets at last count. Here's a couple of my babies.........

Victor the goat

Pearl the lamb

and last but not least, my girls, Nutmeg and Cinnamon.

Of course our numbers change all the time, we recently sold my calf, and one of the ponies. And sadly one of our dogs was hit by a car and died not long ago. But we always seem to come home with more animals, tomorrow we will pick up 4 pregnant ewes to add to our menagerie.........

Hi Monica, Thanks for your message. Oh how I envy you! We used to live on two and a half acres and had two goats - one milking, one miniature, chooks, ducks, a dog and a cat and a great vege garden which supplied sometimes in excess of our needs. It was great sometimes to be able to send visitors away with a box of home growns! I had a friend who used to turn my goat's milk into cheese - both ricotta and feta. It was wonderful. We spend our days hoping the right property will come up for us again! Enjoy your felting and please email me if I can be of help........felting can be a truly rewarding or frustrating experience! Tiffane.
PS a great site for seeds for you tanks is www.edenseeds,com .....they stock a great variety of traditional seeds!!!
